Jenevi Gonzalez
Founder & Lead Pet Care Specialist
Animals have always been at the center of my life. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with them, not just because I love them, but because they deserve better care, understanding, and advocacy. I began volunteering with local organizations as a child, helping at adoption events and working hands-on with animals. That passion continued through high school and into adulthood, where I fostered and worked alongside Houston-area shelters and rescues. ​After years of experience in both rescue and the pet care industry, I founded Jenevi’s Pet Services in 2016 to provide reliable, compassionate care built on trust and integrity. I have experience working with a wide range of animals, including parrots and dogs that require a more experienced handler due to size, strength, and/or behavior.​
In addition to my client work, I serve as a director with HTX Dog Rescue and with Dogs Got Souls, a nonprofit focused on service dog training, where we support owner training and prepare dogs for successful placement in their working roles and homes.
Providing safe, dependable, and understanding care isn’t just what I do, it’s what I’ve dedicated my life to.

Pet Care Specialist
Animals have always been something I naturally connect with, especially the ones that need a calmer, more patient approach. Through my experience in freelance pet care and training, I’ve learned how important it is to pay attention to behavior, routine, and the small details that make each pet feel comfortable. I’m very detail-oriented and like making sure everything is done right and nothing gets missed. After each visit, I take the time to write thorough report cards so you always know exactly how your pet is doing. I have a dog, Aruna, who is incredibly bubbly and never meets a stranger (and sometimes even joins me on walks), along with a cat at home. I treat every pet like they’re my own and take a lot of pride in the care I provide.

Pet Care Specialist
I’ve always loved working with animals, and I bring a fun, positive energy to every visit. My background as a veterinary technician and in veterinary pharmacy has given me a lot of experience with medications and understanding overall pet health. I’ve also worked in professional pet care, so I know how important it is to be reliable and keep things running smoothly. I keep my updates simple, clear, and to the point while still making sure you know everything you need to. I’m also one of the live-in sitters, which means spending extended time away from home (and my dog, Sunny, who is the apple of my eye), but it’s something I’m committed to so pets can stay comfortable in their own space. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
